Nature published, in April 2025, two meta-analyses of

• the top 100 papers of all time
• the top 25 papers of this century

Out of EMBL, we have

• the DESeq2 paper (2014) on Rank 26 in all time and Rank 18 in 21st century,
• the CLUSTAL W paper (1994) on Rank 37 together with the CLUSTAL X paper (1997) on Rank 83 in all time.
